Improving the care of patients with leg ulceration

We have been privileged to work with Urgo Medical in 2018/19 on their Annual European Leg Ulcer Days programme. These popular events, held at several venues across the UK, have explored a range of topics that have included the use of motivational interviewing to improve concordance with treatment and the use of dialogue to enhance patient/ clinician partnerships when planning care.

In 2019, in addition to the two face to face events, the presentations were also streamed live via an evening webinar and attracted a wide audience of clinicians.

A live Q&A session afterwards produced an extremely interesting discussion between the audience and panel of experts and demonstrated the advantages of delivering education via a virtual platform.
